THERAPY
Most of all our daily activities are a result of subconscious patterns. i.e. we are not completely conscious of 88% of our actions. When is the last time you thought/planned your brush strokes before you brushed your teeth in th morning?
You do not lose control of yourself or your mind, and you do not give power over yourself to the therapist, in hypnotherapy. In the hypnotic state a person usually remains conscious of his/her surroundings, and is aware of the entire procedure as it enfolds, but is in a hyper suggestible state where positive affirmations and healing may be achieved. The procedure can be stopped at any point desired by the client and it is the client who sees and acts and remains in control. You may also experience glimpses of spiritual guides or their past lives during the trance state. The latter is then called Past Life Regression Therapy (see next).
